Dr. Dawn Michael is a certified clinical sexologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication and Master of Arts degree in marriage, family, and child counseling, and finally her PhD in the field of Human Sexuality at the “Harvard School For Human Sexuality” Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS). As a sex positive counselor Dawn has been featured on national television, radio shows and has published several hundred articles on the topic of intimacy, human sexuality, sexual health, relationship advice, dating and sex education.

As a recognized expert in the field of intimacy, sexuality and relationships, Dr. Michael works to create an environment where people feel comfortable asking, and getting information to their most personal questions. Drawing upon over 15 years of experience, Dr. Dawn Michael empowers adults to embrace their sexuality and challenge the impractical messages about sexuality that they have learned. Dr.Michael educates couples, individuals and teenagers to understand society’s conflicting expectations of the expression of what sexuality means. Dr. Michael is comfortable when speaking about topics, including sexuality, intimacy, relationships, and sexual health, and encourages parents, members of the media, and educators to open their minds to new possibilities. Dr. Dawn Michael is the founder of “The Happy Spouse” and Sexual Health and Wellness Center.
